A Stamp Duty Increase That Won't Affect You
The Labour government’s first budget has been announced. What does it mean for Find UK Property clients?
The Good News
- No increase on Capital Gains Tax.
- No increase on taxes from rent.
- No changes to property inheritance rules.
The Bad News
- Stamp Duty increase from 3% to 5% for those buying additional properties.

Reserve a property before 31st December 2024 and you’ll benefit in 2 ways:
1. We pay the 2% extra
For buyers who need to pay the additonal stamp duty, we will give you a discount of 2%. This means we will effectively pay the extra 2% stamp duty mentioned above on your behalf, for reservations made by 31st December.
2. Price Freeze
In line with the UK Property market, our prices are increasing in Q4. Reserve before 31st December to lock in the old prices.
